Appeal after attempted assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was the victim of an attempted sexual assault in South Park, Macclesfield on Saturday.
The incident happened between 8-9pm near to the Poplar Road entrance to the park.
The man is described as aged between 40-50, and 5ft 5ins with short, shaved dark hair, dark facial hair and dark tanned skin. He spoke with a local accent and had probably been drinking.
Police are anxious to talk to a young man who drive off the attacker or to anyone who saw the incident.
